🤝 Partnership Visa (Unión Marital de Hecho)

• For unmarried couples who have cohabited at least two years.
• Requires a notarized declaration of partnership, held for at least one year before applying for the visa.
• Eligible to apply for the permanent R Visa after 5 years in M status.

3-Step Process

✅ Apply for your Marriage or Partner Visa (valid for up to 3 years)
✅ Get your cédula (Colombian foreigner ID) within 15 days of visa approval

Requirements

📌 Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity + 2 blank pages)
📌 Entry/exit stamp showing your arrival in Colombia
📌 Passport photo
📌 Private health insurance with coverage in Colombia
📌 Apostilled criminal record certificate from your country of residence (issued within the last 6 months)
📌 Letter explaining your reason for the visa
📌 Letter from your Colombian spouse or partner requesting the visa
📌 Copy of your spouse’s Colombian ID (Cédula de Ciudadanía)

Marriage Visa:
📝 Civil marriage certificate (authenticated and translated if issued outside Colombia)

Partnership Visa:
📝 Notarized Declaración de Unión Marital de Hecho (must be at least one year old at time of visa application)
📝 Joint sworn statements from two witnesses confirming the relationship
